A Day in the Life at Market
Share
Amy (CEO), Kenedi (Inventory Specialist), and us four summer interns, Brie, Corrie, Chole and Cora (me) recently had the opportunity to attend the Northstar Fashion Market in Minneapolis! Northstar is a family-owned and operated fashion trade show, offering buyers a variety of women’s apparel, footwear, accessories, and gift items. Read about our adventure…
Find Pieces Our Customers Will Love
The mission at Inherit is to offer modest, beautiful clothing for women, and shopping at the market helps us achieve that goal through a curated closet! Though we are the ones attending this fashion market, we were shopping for styles that are suited to our customers, which means you!
Prepare For Fall
In the fashion industry, you always have to think ahead. This is why we have already started preparing designs for the upcoming fall season, and it looks like we aren’t the only ones!
Getting a jump on the seasonal styles allows us time to choose the perfect pieces for our fall collections. It also means we get to release these collections sooner, so you can shop these looks early!
Discover New Businesses
What better way to find new styles our customers will enjoy than by collaborating with new businesses by purchasing their products? We want to provide a variety of feminine yet modest designs, and we look for organizations with the same values. Collaboration encourages a sense of a community and gives us the ability to build connections, share experiences, and stay ahead of the trends.
Decide: Yes or No?
There are so many timeless designs on the market that it was difficult to decide which to buy. What will our customers wear time and time again? Are these styles similar to our best selling pieces? Does this style match what our brand’s mission strives to deliver?
Last Stop: Mall of America
What better way to end the day than with a trip to the Mall of America! We stopped at America’s largest mall to get some inspiration for new styles and storefront looks. We are always looking for new ways to improve our storefront to improve the experience for our customers. After stopping at some of our favorite stores and boutiques (and Starbucks), we made our journey home!
