I ordered my usual size 14 and it fit perfectly in the waist.
I love the true black material. I hope it doesn't fade!
I'm 5’3.5-4” and it is to the floor on me. I plan to hem it up some. Past the hips it is very wide a-line on me. Some may find this fit too big or frumpy.
The only thing I would change is the faux pockets on back. I plan to open them and add functioning pockets.

Yeah it's both substantial enough but thin enough to be comfortable but modest. I found the waist super comfortable and not too tight too which I was concerned about, but the zipper is nice and the three buttons make it more flush with my body than some skirts or even pants where it's one button. And it was true to size too. Super happy with it.

Since this skirt is 100% cotton, I was unsure of how it would fit. I ordered several sizes to try on. I am usually between a 14 and 16 depending on how a skirt stretches. The 16 was way too big on me, and surprisingly the 14 fit just right!
It was just what I have been looking for—black, cotton twill, long enough length for a tall gal, and suitable for church and any other occasion. Thank you, Inherit!

I am SO excited about this skirt!! fINALLY a true a line maxi that fits exactly how I want it-nicely alined through the hips so you can wear any style top with it! All of inherits other ‘Aline’ skirts I call wannabe Aline, because sure they’re Aline on the bottom for walkability but they’re still fitted through the hips and I feel like I need to wear a cardigan or longer top with them. Not this beauty! It lays so nice, feels like nicer fabric than the faith as far as attracting lint, and is not so wide that you can’t wear a long cardigan. It looks amazing with the long and soft or the Kylin. I would say if you have narrow waist size down, otherwise TTS. We need this style in all the classic colors-navy, steel gray, camel, dusty olive, dark wash and med wash denim and do a midi in all of those too. I am not kidding, Inherit, this is the best designed skirt you have ever done.
