I was needing a new black skirt and this one caught my eye. It is super stretchy and comfortable. It is a light “denim” material, not like a Jean skirt or the Remi’s. I did have to size up two sizes from my normal size. I went by the hip measurements instead of the waist measurements, so it is a little loose in the waist but the first one I got was really tight in the bottom area for me. 30 inch waist and 40 inch hips, 5’4”, I went with a size 10 in the 31 inch length. I probably could have gotten away with a size 8 with it being so stretchy.

I love this basic skirt for everyday. The fit is mid-rise which works well for someone who is an hourglass shape. The only downside is it runs very small if you do not want it tight. I had to size up like 3 sizes.
