I am typically a size S-M. I ordered this in a medium. It fit in the bust, about 34B, It did show a roll, I hadn't really noticed before :/ I ordered the white and could not see my bra. It fit well under clothes, covered most of my bum, (I ma 5'4" short waisted) was not hot. I might consider a Large next time.

It's hard to find a modest layering cami that's high enough, delicately designed and not a crop top. Just FYI it doesn't fit pretty snug so I'm glad I sized up (two sizes actually), but since it's for layering anyway it might not matter much to you because it won't be seen and it won't bunch up underneath another garment.
